WHAT DOES “PASS RESTRICTED” MEAN?
As part of our relationship with the movie studios, we are required to comply with any restrictions on certain movies for an agreed upon time. Those restrictions typically require us to limit or disallow the use of any vouchers, passes and/or special price reducing promotions. These restrictions usually last for the first two weeks after a film’s release date.
WHY CAN’T I SEE THE COMPLETE SCHEDULE FOR NEXT WEEK OR BEYOND?
Studios release the rights to films at the beginning of every week. As such, theaters will post their schedules on the corresponding Monday or Tuesday of every week. From time to time, studios will offer prerelease dates for tickets.
I BOUGHT TICKETS ONLINE AND NEED A REFUND. WHAT DO I DO?
In order to process a refund for an online ticket, a credit card is required. Leitersburg Cinemas does not maintain credit card information within our database. Please give us a call at (240) 329-2062 during operating hours and we’ll be happy to assist with the request. If we miss your call, please email us at email@example.com with your name, phone number and movie information. A response will be issued promptly.
DO I HAVE TO WAIT IN LINE IF I PURCHASED ONLINE TICKETS?
The answer is yes and no. During our busier periods, we offer an “online only” station at the North end of the building (closest to the parking lot). In contrast, during our slower periods, we do ask that you wait in the Box Office line to retrieve your tickets. Online reservations merely hold seats. To redeem an online reservation, you will either need the full name of the purchaser, transaction number and/or bar code.
WHY ISN’T A PARTICULAR FILM SHOWING? WILL YOU BE GETTING THIS FILM?
Movie theaters are subject to release windows and availability set by the studios. Certain films are wide release and can be attained by a majority of first run theaters. Others are limited release. This means the studios have a predetermined number of theaters and locations that will be allowed to show said film. Leitersburg Cinemas receives its film data on the Monday or Tuesday prior to release date(s) unless presold tickets are available.
WHEN DOES THE BOX OFFICE OPEN?
The box office begins operations one half-hour before the first showtime(s) of the day. It closes 20 minutes after the last showtime(s) begin.
